Sherry Hodge, Au.D., FAAASherry Hodge, Au.D., FAAA

Dr Hodge received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Ball State Univeristy in 1985-85 and her Clinical doctorate degree from A.T. Still University of Arizona in 2002. Dr. Hodge’s experience includes 15 years of diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology services as the department director at Community Hospital Anderson. She opened the doors to her private practice on August 2, 2002 and enjoys the freedom to make the right choices for her patients, her staff and herself. As lifetime resident of Madison & Tipton counties, she is on a first name basis by most who walk through the doors. Dr. Hodge is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctor’s of Audiology, the American Tinnitus Association and Indiana Speech and Hearing Association.

Pediatric patients and their parents hold special interest for Dr. Hodge, who initially majored in deaf education at Ball State, and she is one of the nine Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) regional consultants contracted by the Indiana State Department of Health to work with professionals and families in the northeast IN region. On occasion, she has given lectures at state professional meetings regarding EHDI, pediatric evaluations, private practice & insurance reimbursement.

In her spare time, Dr. Hodge is a soccer mom (teenage son), and loves to shop with her teenage daughter, golf with her husband and tries to travel with her family at least once a year. She also enjoys photography, scrap-booking and dancing (tap, jazz & Zumba)

Jennifer Monroe, Au.D., FAAAJennifer Monroe, Au.D., FAAA

Dr. Jennifer Monroe grew up in Crown Point, Indiana. While in high school she began doing office work for an Audiology clinic. Because she thoroughly enjoyed her experience at the clinic, she decided to pursue a degree in Communication Disorders. After completing her Bachelor’s degree at Valparaiso University in 1993, Dr. Monroe spent the next 2 years at Ball State University working on her Master’s degree in Audiology. She married her high school sweetheart in 1994, a day after her final Audiology exam. Dr. Monroe then completed two internships, one with the VA and the other with Community Hospital, Anderson, where she met Dr. Hodge. Dr. Monroe remained on staff in the Audiology Department there until 2003 when she left the hospital to join Advanced Hearing Care. She earned her doctorate degree from A.T. Still University in 2006.

Dr. Monroe is committed to improving the quality of life of her patients. She stays current with the many audiology and hearing aid industry journals received monthly. Using the latest technology and research along with high standards of care, Dr. Monroe believes in verifying every hearing aid fitting to be sure each patient is meeting his/her prescription and potential. She enjoys the relationships she develops with her clients.

Dr. Monroe and her husband are blessed with two sons that keep her busy at soccer fields, baseball fields, and basketball courts. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and Grace Lutheran Church, Muncie. Dr. Monroe enjoys reading, playing piano, hiking and cooking.

Toni StaggsToni Staggs of Advanced Hearing Care in Anderson, IN

Office Manager

Toni is a lifelong Anderson resident. She has worked at Advanced Hearing Care since its door opened in 2002. Toni is the friendly voice you will hear on the phone and the friendly face you will see at the front desk. She is also responsible for accounts.

Toni is a twin and is often mistaken for her sister. In her spare time, Toni enjoys reading and watching movies with her husband and two children.

 

 

Tina RoseTina Rose

Billing Specialist/Marketing Manager

Tina grew up in Madison County and spent her four years of high school living in the girl’s dorm at Indiana Academy in Cicero, Indiana. She joined Advanced Hearing Care in September of 2012 as a part-time Billing Specialist. She has now added the responsibilities of Marketing Manager, which she really enjoys.

When she isn’t working here, she enjoys working at H&R Block as a Tax Professional during tax season and she owns Rose’s Lawn Care & Landscaping during the Summer/Fall months. She is a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Anderson, Staff for the Anderson Pathfinder Club, and Member of the Indiana Academy Alumni Board. During her “down” time, she enjoys cooking for the local “Healthy Indiana Class,” gardening, playing cards, bowling, spending time with her family, friends and dogs.

Her daughter Brooke (26) and grandson Lucas (4) live in Texas and her two teenage sons, Nick (15) and Brandon (14) keep her very busy at home. Nick keeps her on her toes while out exploring the surrounding areas on his bike. Brandon enjoys staying home and enjoys the computer.
